Watch the rain fall Up from the ground Then we could stand tall Upside down Just ask the questions Not for the answers But for the questions We'll ask later This conscience It falters Like someone without shame
3.
Like a freight train Like a deal Like a spaceship Like the earth Like a scavenger Like a plane Like a meteor Like a sword Like a lawsuit Like the plague Like a sorcerer Like a wand Like a racecar Like the wind Like a promise LIKE YOUR DEATH!!!! This thing is flying around and around Going in circles never ever coming down This thing has no sense of direction There's no real need to be scared Like a miracle Like a sieve Like a hammer Like a nail Like a pastor Like the moon Like an anvil Like a person Like the planets Like an animal Like it's fate Like another Like a tree Like the pressure Like the pain LIKE YOUR DEATH!!!! This thing is flying around and around Going in circles never ever coming down This thing has no sense of direction There's no real need to be scared
4.
You see me in every single distance You see me every day and every night You see me regardless of the instance You see me in only certain light Follow me wherever I'm going Follow me if you see fit Follow me if you like it or not But it's not like I'd ever notice it I want to know what it's like to be here I'd like to feel what it's like to be home I don't care for as long as I can see clear As long as I can see on my own This path I chose is never ending It doesn't matter which way I turn Can't go back for I know not where I am Sometimes I never learn Only you knew where it all started Only you knew that it went that far Only you could get me to the end But I don't know who the hell you are
5.
Did it go the way we planned? Did it matter if it turned out well? If we were listening willwe turn it off? When we do, would you care, is it good? Did it ever cross our minds? Will we know to stop? Or just keep on going? If we do, do you care, is it good? If there's another way of life I don't want it to end this way But if there's some better view Take a look and find it today It's not like we didn't mean it Just another method to be secure In whatever we've been doing Since we are, will you care, is it good? If there's another way of life I don't want it to end this way But if there's some better view Take a look and find it today
6.
Starting from the ending Post-script's in front of the page It sounds condescending But that's how it is in this age You've got nothing to say here Well neither do I I'm hearing all the stories, nothing seems untrue This fiction's coming from an alternative view This paranoia is aggressively legit It doesn't know when to sleep or when to quit Don't explain what Happened to you Subject's old now Tell me something new Reaching out from darkness Time to shed some light On what is never known here Or so I think, right? You don't know what I'm saying Well I don't know either There something's going on, it's locked in my brain Making me neurotic, lazy and insane This space and time is all of that I will allow I'd rather be any other place but now I can't judge this Judge what I missed Don't be remiss If I like this Picking up the pieces Of what is left in the place I could be wrong in saying There is no other space, just....
7.
It feels Important What this has done to me I want to live life So deliciously
8.
In a time at a place where you never dared to go It didn't matter how long it took, as long as you made the show The lights and the shadows, everything is bright, just like a king The ever present disconnect, you don't feel a thing Seek all the wonders you can find, up and down and then beyond And at the end of the journey, you see that everything is gone The truth and the lies is all that the future will bring The ever present disconnect, you don't feel a thing Forward crawling through the night, where all you see is black The ties around you, they're so tight, never giving up any slack No one's around, you try to call out, but it's all undoing The ever present disconnect, you don't feel a thing
9.
My conscience It faltered Like someone without shame Can't focus This memory Decipher my own name These thoughts have Consumed me They caused these mental stains You see my Convulsions Just like it's some old game I know that You tried to Blow demons from my brain This person Inside me And he's the one to blame There is no Mistake here.... Far from the ruins The ash is on the floor The sun is going... down Into the nether.... ether.....

about

This album was created for the RPM Challenge 2016. A group of musicians, most of whom didn't know or barely knew one another, improvised performances for a few hours. Those performances were edited into song structures, and many parts were re-recorded. This is the end result of those initial jams and the weeks of layering onto them.
